I'm a New York-based illustrative designer with my journey rooted in my heritage as a first-generation immigrant from the Philippines. With a deep respect for history and a passion for art, I've honed my skills as a self-taught student of fine art and technical illustration. From studying the works of old masters like Leonardo da Vinci to immersing myself in art history, I've continuously expanded my knowledge and technical abilities in fine art and traditional art.
Growing up, I witnessed my parents' unwavering determination to overcome poverty through hard work and adaptability. I'm reminded of the power of learning and I consciously apply it to my practice as a creative.
My journey took an unexpected turn when I discovered graphic design during my time at Queens College. This newfound passion became my creative outlet, allowing me to visually express ideas and stories in meaningful ways. In June 2023, I proudly became the first person in my family to graduate from college with a BFA in Design.
